Still dealing with a knee, shoulder or tendon after PT or injections? Start with a free consult, then a physician will tell you straight if stem cell therapy makes sense.
This physician performs one or more stem cell therapies that have not yet been approved by the United States Food and Drug Administration. You are encouraged to consult with your primary care provider before undergoing any stem cell therapy.
F.S. 458.3245 · 459.0127Stem cell therapy at BioDesign is not an FDA-approved treatment. Individual response cannot be predicted, and some patients do not respond. A BioDesign physician determines whether treatment is appropriate for you. Elective and self-pay; not covered by insurance.
You've probably tried the usual things already. Tell us what they were, and a physician will tell you whether stem cell therapy is worth a closer look, or whether it isn't.

Bring your PT notes, imaging, whatever you have. A physician looks at all of it before recommending anything.

Tell us what's helped, what hasn't and what you want to get back to. We'll talk through whether a targeted option is worth exploring.

A physician looks at where things stand today and tells you plainly what can and can't be expected.

Elbow, Achilles, wherever it is. Start with a free conversation, not a sales pitch.
Come talk it through. We'll never tell you to ignore your own doctor, and we're glad to share anything they'd want to see.

What's actually in the vial?
Cells from donated umbilical cord tissue. The donors are healthy mothers who chose to donate after a full-term, live C-section birth, and every donor's medical history and blood are screened. Nothing is taken from a baby.

No runaround. You'll always know what a visit is for, who you're seeing and what comes next.

Start with our Performance Coach, virtually or in person, and talk through your history, what you've tried and what you'd like to get back to. Then a physician decides whether stem cell therapy is worth considering.

Before anything starts, your team goes over three things with you: your signed consent, your product's lot number and the certificate for that lot.

Four check-ins are built into every protocol, so your physician can see how you're doing over time.

(321) 517-2977The program uses donated umbilical cord tissue. For the VittiCells line, donations come from healthy, consenting mothers after full-term, live C-section births, through U.S. procurement organizations following AATB collection guidelines. Dezawa MuseCells are a defined cell type from donated umbilical cord tissue, and each lot is accompanied by a laboratory Certificate of Analysis.
No. The tissue comes from the umbilical cord and the gel around it after delivery, and the mother consents to donate it.
First, a patient coordinator calls you to set it up. The consult itself is with our Performance Coach, virtually or in person at our Orlando clinic. They'll go over your history and what you've tried, and answer your questions. Next, you meet with a physician, who decides whether stem cell therapy is appropriate to consider for you. Your Performance Coach stays your point of contact throughout.
No one can predict how any one person will respond, and we won't pretend to. Your physician will tell you whether stem cell therapy is appropriate to consider for you, and talk through the recommendation, its limits and what to expect.
Some people notice a change in four to eight weeks, and more over three to six months. Some don't respond at all, and there's no way to predict which group you'll be in. That's part of why follow-up is built in.
Stem cell therapy at BioDesign is not an FDA-approved treatment. Your physician goes over the regulatory status, the risks and the consent information with you before any treatment.
They are different routes with different goals. A targeted injection is focused on one joint or tendon. Intravenous administration is used for broader systemic signaling. Your physician decides which route, if any, fits you.
PRP is prepared from your own blood, so its content depends on your biology. The cellular products used here are measured before they reach the clinic, and the program includes product documentation. That does not mean an individual result can be predicted.
No. It's elective and self-pay. You can pay in full up front, by self-pay or patient financing, or pay half to hold your appointment and the rest two days before treatment.
That's a decision for you, your own doctor and your BioDesign physician. We won't tell you to ignore or replace another physician's recommendation.
They're right to be careful, and we'd encourage you to bring them in. We can share sourcing and testing information and, after your consult, the recommendation and consent details, so your doctor can see exactly what's being considered.
